ABOUT ME

Jo Bignell - dyslexia assessments and specialist tutoring, Surrey & South London

Jo Bignell MDG

Dyslexia Specialist based in Carshalton Beeches, Surrey

I am a highly skilled dyslexia specialist qualified in the assessment and specialist tutoring of dyslexic children and those who need additional support in the areas of reading, writing and spelling.

WHY I DO WHAT I DO

As a parent of a dyslexic child and a former Primary School Teacher, I have seen first-hand the challenges and frustrations experienced by learners of all ages and how they may present themselves both at home and in the learning environment.

Empowering learners to feel included and supported throughout their education is a passion of mine. The services I offer provide opportunities for learners to understand more about how they learn and process information. This builds confidence and provides a structured and sustainable pathway forward to becoming an independent learner, whilst being fully supported.

I can help breakdown the frustration and often low self-esteem that can occur in learners with literacy difficulties.
